This weekend, get out with the family and help a good cause at the same time.

Disney on Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After through this Sunday, October 14. On Friday, October 12, one dollar of every ticket sold to the 7:30 p.m. show will be donated to Genesis Shelter, a program for homeless mothers of newborns, in honor of one of the Disney princesses featured in the performances.

In Disney on Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After, Merida from the Disney•Pixar film “BRAVE” demonstrates a powerful message about finding the courage to determine one’s fate. Rockin’ Ever After remixes the stories of Disney’s most adventurous heroines, including Ariel, Rapunzel, Belle and Merida, with upbeat music and energetic choreography.

In line with Merida’s fearlessness, Feld Entertainment, which produces the shows, “searched Atlanta for places that demonstrated what it means to be brave,” says Crystal Drake, regional public relations manager, Feld Entertainment. “At Genesis, we found story after story of brave women who are making significant changes in their lives to determine their own fate. We’re honored to celebrate their hard work through this gift.”

Performances are at Philips Arena.
