Microsoft Store to Open at Lenox Square Mall

Grand-opening activities are set for the new Microsoft store at Lenox Square Mall. The store is scheduled to open at the end of May, with a campaign underway now to benefit a number of local organizations.

Microsoft Store Grand Opening – Friday, May 27, 2011:
9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST – Grand Opening Ceremony Join Microsoft COO Kevin Turner for a ribbon cutting ceremony where he will present more than $1 million in software grants to local organizations, based on how members of the local community voted on the Microsoft Store Facebook page.

10 a.m. EST – Doors open! Microsoft will be giving away gift bags and you can take advantage of great deals on PCs, Windows Phone 7, Xbox releases, and more.

Celebration Continues - Saturday, May 28, 2011
4 p.m. EST – The new Microsoft store presents an exclusive performance by the 2011 American Idol winner and top two finalists in advance of the 2011 American Idol Live! Summer Tour. Come early to receive complimentary wristbands to this special performance on Saturday, May 28 and a gift bag.
